If Absorbag is individually lined, cut open the liner bag. If the box is bulk lined for 12 Absorbags and not all are used, remember to re-close the liner bag in the box. Two ways to hang the Absorbag: Using the enclosed Hook or using a Cable Tie.
If you use the Hook
- Twist the hook off from the blue base.
- Fit it on the non printed side by pushing it up in the slots until you hear a click.
- Using a ladder, step up and hang the Absorbag with the Hook hanging on the steel loop at the ceiling. Push down with your finger on the Hook until the steel bar is at the bottom of the Hook.
If you use the Cable Tie
- Push the cable tie through the hole in the blue hanger on Absorbag and step up on ladder to reach the steel loop. Push the cable tie through the steel loop and close the cable tie.
- Make sure you insert the end of the cable the correct way into the other end of the cable tie as per drawing, otherwise it will not lock and Absorbag will drop.
- Remove the tape covers form the sticky pads and press Absorbag against container wall making sure that the surface is clean.
- Open up the lower part of Absorbag by pressing the sides. This will allow the brine (salt water) to drip into the bottom collector.
- After use empty water and dispose used Absorbag in a recycle bin. Calcium chloride is non-toxic.
NOTE:
For maximum absorption, keep some space (5-10cm) in front of the perforated upper area of the Absorbag. Also make sure lower collector bag is free to collect water.
