Esorb Packaging Desiccants The Esorb range of desiccant bags come in a variety of sizes and are available in a choice of different absorbents and packaging material, designed to meet your specific need. Montmorillonite Clay – Dry magnesium aluminum silicate, a natural material= MT Active Mineral – Clay and 10 % Calcium Chloride = MD Silica Gel - Silica Gel is a glass-like, porous structure of SiO2 = SD The major difference between the two absorbents is that Active Mineral has higher absorption characteristics due to the presence of Calcium Chloride.
